Our artists

Andreas Lange

VJ, Hannover

He came to tango in 2005 and has since been interested in dance and music, both in the so-called traditional field and in alternative concepts.

In 2015 he expanded his artistic work to the field of visual live performance.

Since then, his live performances can be found at many neo-tango events in Europe. He takes the mood of the music and the dancers and transforms it live into visual elements. These are created by mixing and changing various graphic elements in real-time, and in turn, influence the dancers.

He calls his live performance "Visual Dancing". The content he uses comes partly from his exhibitions, were created by him, especially for Visual Dancing, and comes from artist friends or from publicly available sources.

In 2019, he established ultra-widescreen visuals up to image formats of 72:9 in the neo-tango scene - not every projector now projects the same image content, but a wide image is projected across several projectors.

In 2020 and 2021, he created the artistic concept of NeotangoTV and played virtual dance floors with his visuals for more than 300 hours.

He also created virtual stages for streamed live concerts by Carlos Libedinsky and the Steamed Tango Project.

Anna Neum

DJ, Toulouse

From childhood, Anna has been immersed in the world of music, with experience ranging from classical piano to performing in rock bands. In 1998, she discovered her passion for tango music, though it would be more than a decade before she began dancing to the melodies she loved. Today, she appreciates both Golden Era classics and Neo tango, hoping these distinct styles will someday find harmonious coexistence.

"Music flows through me, and I flow with the music," Anna explains. "Each set I play unfolds live, responding to the energy of the dance floor in that precise moment. I cherish creating continuous musical journeys that guide dancers through time and emotions. My passion lies in the process—discovering new pieces, experimenting with different sounds, weaving them together at the console, and connecting with the dancers' energy. My only frustration is that certain pieces I long to dance to rarely get played or just don't exist outside of console, so I dance to them solo while mixing for others."

Ezequiel Sanucci

DJ & teacher, Amsterdam

DJ Eze has played at major international Neo and traditional Tango festivals across Europe and South America. He thrives on variety, emotional and energetic waves, surprising dancers and creating unique atmospheres during his sets. He always tuned into the energy of the dance floor and his goal is clear: to make sure that everyone has a fantastic time!

Laura Toledo

DJ, Hamburg

Laura has been a Traditional & NeoTango-Teacher and Djane for more than 22  years. She is the most booked DJane in Hamburg.

Her music selection is very versatile and emotional.

Gerrit Dittrich

DJ, Munich

Tango captivated me over 10 years ago. First as a dancer and now also as a singer and DJ. My choice of songs favors sophisticated rhythms and in the tango world so far unheard titles. Always easy to dance to, in thematically coordinated 3-part tandas with cortinas, but 90% non-tango, I present to you the - in many ways -  most moving pieces of music.

Lars Beutin

DJ, Hamburg

After many years of Standard/Latin, Soul Motion, and free dance, I have been dancing Argentine Tango since 2018 - preferably to Non-Tango music. Inspired by some Neotango festivals, where I was able to lose myself in the music of amazing DJs, I want to bring their spirit to my home city of Hamburg. Away from traditional tango, I love to compile tango-danceable music from many genres. Dynamic, dreamy, humorous, experimental. Hamburg needs more Neo!

Petra Klaholz & Jascha Wolf-Illing

Teachers, Basel & Freiburg i. Br.

We want to get you soaring with our tango workshops. With lively lifts and, above all, with the joy and lightness that tango offers you. We teach the technique that makes lifts possible without any exertion or jumping, simply by building tension and letting go. We place great emphasis on the connection between the couple and warm communication, and we teach the technique with a great sense of humor. Get started; it's worth it! Bring more movement, momentum, joy, lightness, and embrace into your tango.

Verónica Villarroel & Marcelo Soria

Verónica and Marcelo have traveled the world to develop their art on various stages and festivals, as well as presenting their own show “Sentimiento de Tango” in various cities in Germany.

Jean-Marc Vandel

DJ & VJ, Lausanne

Since 2005, Jean-Marc has been actively promoting the cause of Neotango by organizing the only Neolonga in the Lake Geneva region.

An avid and eclectic music aficionado, he likes mixing different styles in his sets, in which he strives to find the perfect balance between well-known pieces and new ones.
